By accessing or using the BuddhiFi website, interactive models, calculators, and content (collectively, the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

BuddhiFi is operated to provide intuitive financial intelligence, mathematical modeling, and conceptual education regarding compounding, tax envelopes, and financial independence trajectories.

BuddhiFi operates as an educational publisher providing generalized, non-personalized analytical tools and educational content pursuant to the Publisher's Exclusion under Section 202(a)(11)(D) of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 (15 U.S.C. § 80b-2) and the Supreme Court decision in Lowe v. SEC, 472 U.S. 181 (1985).

No communication, calculation, projection, score, or milestone produced on this Platform constitutes a personal recommendation, solicitation, endorsement, or fiduciary advice to buy, sell, or hold any security, asset, insurance policy, or tax structure.

All calculations rendered across our interactive sandboxes—including the Freedom Horizon, 60-Second Freedom Sketch, Escape Velocity, and Account Waterfall—are hypothetical simulations based upon:

• User-supplied figures and assumptions (such as current net worth, savings rates, and estimated living expenses).
• Historical market indices, long-term inflation approximations, and academic research (e.g., the Trinity Study safe withdrawal rates).
• Published statutory limits (such as IRS Revenue Procedure 2024-40 annual contribution ceilings for 401(k), IRA, and HSA accounts).

Past market performance and hypothetical simulations do not guarantee future results. Statutory tax laws, market volatility, inflation rates, and personal life circumstances change unpredictably.

All intellectual property rights in the Platform—including but not limited to the Refraction Aperture brand marks, user interface design, proprietary simulation engines, mathematical proof formulas, microcopy, and layout—are the exclusive property of BuddhiFi.

You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the Platform for your personal, non-commercial financial education.

Prohibitions: You may not systematically scrape, crawl, reverse-engineer, decompile, mirror, republish, or commercially exploit any software, algorithms, or content from the Platform without prior written consent.

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. BUDDHIFI DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM, COMMUNICATIONS DISPATCHED VIA THIRD-PARTY PROCESSORS, OR INTERNET TRANSMISSIONS ARE ENTIRELY FREE FROM UNFORESEEN SECURITY INCIDENTS OR TRANSMISSION ERRORS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL BUDDHIFI, ITS FOUNDERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR INVESTMENT LOSSES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE PLATFORM.

IN NO EVENT SHALL BUDDHIFI'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY EXCEED ZERO DOLLARS ($0.00 USD) OR THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO BUDDHIFI IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

These Terms and any disputes arising out of or related to your use of the Platform shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Prior to initiating any formal legal proceeding, you agree to contact BuddhiFi at legal@buddhifi.com and attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally for at least thirty (30) days.
